Everyone is invited to be part of the 44th Annual Barona Powwow on Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31, 2014. The event will be held at the Barona Sports Park, Barona Indian Reservation, 1095 Barona Road, Lakeside, California.
Guests will surely have some fun together with the Barona Band of Mission Indians. There will also be some camping, cultural immersion, dancing, and drums.
Dancing competitors will get to win more than $60,000 in prize money. Special contests include Men’s Fancy Dance (Saturday night) and Hand Drum Contest (Sunday afternoon).
Also present in this event is the 2014-2015 Powwow Princess Monica Jacome.
