The German American Societies of San Diego IncIt’s that time of the year again to enjoy the finest German brews at the Oktoberfest weekend happening on September 27 to 29, 2013 at 1017 S. Mollison Avenue, El Cajon, California 92020.

Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a great selection of beers and liquors that are truly German. Aside from the great sampling of beverages, visitors will also be able to enjoy authentic German food such as bratwurst, ox-on-the-spit, potato salad, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and a delectable assortment of pastries.

The merry-making will not be complete without the Guggenbach-Buam band. This group of talented musicians clad in a traditional ensemble will be playing a great selection of traditional German music as well as chicken dance, polkas and waltzes, as well as Oom-pah tunes that visitors can dance or sing along to.

 There will also be various games and contests, vendor and craft booths, and a Kid’s Zone that will keep the young ones entertained for hours on end.
