The Family Artlab is presenting the next installation to its Sound Travel series on November 10, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego located at 1100 and 1001 Kettner Blvd between Broadway and B Street.
This exhibit-tour is entitled“Lost in Memory Palace” which features the works of Janet Cadiff and George Bures Miller.
This tour is expected to give its participants the same experience of traveling back in time when hearing a familiar noise or tune. The theme centers on the potential of music to inspire people to create works of art that depict a period in the past.
This activity is recommended for families with childen ages 5 years old and beyond. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis.
The Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego was first established in 1941 as La Jolla’s Art Center. Throughout the years, it has evolved into an internationally-recognized organization with a present collection of more than 4,000 artworks.
