All are invited to be part of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s happening on Saturday, October 18, 2014. The walk will be from 8:00 to 11:00 in the morning at Balboa Park, San Diego, California.
Attendees will walk starting from Pan American Plaza going to Pan America Road then to Plaza De Panama. After, they will walk to El Prado, reach Balboa Drive, straight to Marston Loop side walk. Then back to El Prado, Plaza De Panama, Pan American Road before reaching Pan American Plaza once again.
There is a participant pledge and about 3,500 individuals are expected to attend this activity.
Alzheimer’s disease is considered to be the most common form of dementia and is said to affect about one in 85 people. Funds gathered will benefit research programs as well as services in finding a cure for this illness.
