For its eighth year, the Bankers Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival returns March 27, 2020, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Abbey on Fifth Avenue! Socialize and discover local craft breweries, restaurants and art at this year’s festival.

Join the 39th Annual Tribute to the Reggae Legends Fest aka Bob Fest — a Tribute to Vaughn Benjamin this Valentine’s Weekend, February 15^th and 16^th, 2020 at the WorldBeat Cultural Center located at 2100 Park Blvd, San Diego, (Balboa Park) and gates will open at 4PM. The San Diego Tet Festival is the longest-running Vietnamese Lunar New Year festival in San Diego that attracts more than 25,000 people every year from all over the city. The 8th annual San Diego Beer Fest promises another fun-filled day with beer, food trucks, and music. The event will feature 70 Breweries, 150 Beers & San Diego’s most popular food trucks. It will be located at the Ingram Plaza at Liberty Station on Jan 11, 2020, from12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

VIP admission starts at noon and regular admission starts at 1:00 PM. Both include unlimited beer tastings, with VIP admission offering an added hour. Please keep in mind that the event is limited to 21 and over and no pets are allowed.

Come one, come all to America’s Largest Balloon Parade! Watch marching bands, floats, drill teams and giant balloons parade down San Diego’s beautiful waterfront on Dec 26, 2019, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

The scenic, bayside streets of downtown San Diego will come alive with the 2019 Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade! As always, this exciting family event brings together world-class marching bands, magnificent floats, entertaining drill teams, and a procession of enormous balloons – more than any other parade! Over 100,000 street-side spectators will enjoy the parade along with a nationwide television audience in celebration of Holiday Bowl game day.

Parade festivities will begin in the television area with the Solar Turbines 5K Run/Walk.

Join the San Diego Run for the Hungry 5K & 10K on  Thanksgiving morning, November 28 in Downtown San Diego – Outside Horton Plaza. The 10K run will be at 7 a.m. and the 5K at 8:15 a.m. This event will benefit the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. Dogs are also welcome!

Participants enjoy being able to run or walk through beautiful Downtown San Diego and the Historic Gaslamp Quarter. The event attracts all levels and abilities from athletes to families looking to get some exercise before sitting down to a Thanksgiving meal. An added bonus to the event includes the participation of dogs, and each registered dog receives a bandana and dog treats along the course.

Run for the Hungry has remained a fun family tradition on Thanksgiving Day for the past 16 years. Plus, it is a great way to get outside and burn a few calories before indulging in your favorite holiday dishes. Plus, for every participant, at least 185 meals will be raised through each runner’s race fee to help individuals and families in need.

This year’s Challenge Walk MS in Southern California 2019 will be a 3-Day event on November 8-10, 2019.  The walk travels from San Diego Hilton Del Mar to Bonita Cove. Experience a personal journey of physical stamina and adventure while helping the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
